I understand the challenges of small businesses within West Dorset and neighbouring areas, which enables me to adapt to your unique business needs. As a qualified bookkeeper a member of The Institute of Certificated Bookkeepers (ICB) I have the ability to keep your books up-to-date and accurate. I will keep your business information confidential (with the exception of legal requirements) and I will do my best to assist your business to prosper.
Account reports can be confusing and mystifying to some business owners. I will try to keep reports relevant to your business, in a format you can understand and only produce reports that your business needs. For many of my clients this means, they prefer graphs rather than figures.
I keep up-to-date with changing legalisation and continue to develop my qualifications and skills to provide my clients with the very best service suited to their individual needs.
I understand that, for some people, your business bookkeeping is very personal, so please contact me to arrange a meeting to decide if you feel confident to discuss your bookkeeping requirements with me.
I was born in Bridport and have spent my life in the area. I went to Powerstock, Burton Bradstock and Colfox Schools and have brought up my own children in the area. Both my father and Grandfather were small business owners.
I have been involved with and worked in many different small businesses in the area. I am happy to provide references.
I have a BSc in Business Information Technology from Bournemouth University, graduating in 1995.

What I am not
I am not an accountant and therefore I do not give tax advice or prepare Self-Assessment returns or final accounts for Companies House. I will work with your accountant or introduce you to one of the many accountants I work with.
